Peaking Into the Future

While the concept of “peak gold” has been extensively mined, less has been written about “peak silver.” But over the last few weeks, two articles on that subject have been published.  One, headlined “Peak Silver?,” lists “several reasons to be concerned about the possibility of some sort of peak or decline in silver production in the future.”  They range from questions about the supply of silver held at futures changes like the COMEX, to a diminishing return on investment.  The latter is covered in Steve St. Angelo’s “Peak Silver Revisited: Impacts of a Global Depression, Declining Ore Grades & a Falling EROI.”
